AI features in Wigma — spell-check, automated feedback, and character chat — consume a metered quota each billing cycle. This page explains how usage is tracked and what happens when you reach your limit.
How metering works
Each AI request has a real cost based on the language model used. Wigma applies a per-feature coefficient to determine what counts against your quota:
| Feature | Counts against quota |
|---|
| Context-Aware Spell-Check | Yes |
| Automated Feedback | Yes |
| Chat with Character | Yes |
| Discord Bot | Yes |
| Project Intelligence | No (always free) |
Your current usage is visible in Settings > AI Usage, which shows a progress bar and your cycle reset date.
Quota by plan
| Plan | AI quota per cycle |
|---|
| Free | None |
| Starter | $1.00 |
| Pro | $5.00 |
| Teams | $10.00 |
What happens at the limit
When you reach your quota, AI features pause until the next billing cycle resets. The request that pushes you over the limit always completes — you won’t lose work mid-check.
Project Intelligence (background analysis that powers smarter AI responses) is always free and does not count against your quota.
Cycle reset
Your AI quota resets at the beginning of each billing cycle. The exact reset date is shown in Settings > AI Usage.
