Locations are a core part of the Atlas, allowing you to build immersive settings for your story. Whether you are writing a fantasy epic with multiple continents or a thriller set in a single city, organizing your locations helps maintain consistency.
Creating Locations
You can create locations directly in the Atlas and link them to your manuscript.
Add a New Location
Navigate to the Atlas and create a new Location entry. Give it a name and a brief description.
Define the Details
Flesh out the location with details such as climate, culture, history, and key landmarks.
Establish Hierarchy
Organize locations hierarchically. For example, you can nest a specific building inside a city, and that city inside a country.
When writing in the Editor, you can quickly reference your locations to ensure you are describing the setting accurately without breaking your flow.
