Lore entries capture the rules, history, timelines, and background knowledge that underpin your writing. Whether it’s a magic system, a political structure, a style guide, or a timeline of events — lore is where it lives.

Creating lore entries

1

Open the Atlas

Navigate to the Atlas sidebar in your project.
2

Create a new Lore entry

Use the context menu or the + button to create a new Lore entry.
3

Fill in the details

Add a description and custom attributes to document the rules or history you need to track.

Use cases

  • Magic systems — define rules, limitations, and costs
  • Political structures — map factions, alliances, and hierarchies
  • Timelines — record events in chronological order
  • Style guides — document tone, voice, and terminology for consistent writing
  • World rules — physics, technology levels, cultural norms

Organizing lore

Lore entries live in the Atlas tree. Use folders to group related entries (e.g., “History”, “Magic”, “Politics”) and nest them as deeply as needed.

Lore and AI

Your lore entries are used as context by Wigma’s AI features. This means the grammar checker and character chat respect the rules and terminology you’ve defined.
