Writing a book or long-form project requires keeping the big picture in view. Wigma’s Progress Manager helps you stay on top of your goals without cluttering your writing space.

Tracking Your Progress

The Progress Manager provides a high-level overview of your entire manuscript.
1

View Word Counts

Check the word count for individual chapters, scenes, or the entire project. This helps you maintain consistent pacing and hit your daily targets.
2

Set Document Statuses

Assign a status to each document in your content tree to track its stage in the writing process:
  • Draft: Work in progress.
  • Review: Ready for editing or feedback.
  • Final: Completed and polished.
3

Add Notes

Leave high-level notes on chapters or sections to remind yourself of what needs to be done next, without putting those notes directly into the manuscript text.
Use the Progress Manager at the start of your writing session to decide which chapter to tackle next based on its current status.
